JOB SUMMARY

This half time (20 hr/wk) position is responsible for the technology and
talent needed for marketing, branding, and communications that include video-filming and photography including necessary editing a of videos and photographs. The ability to research innovative marketing techniques is desired. Also requires maintaining email lists, managing registration of courses and events, creating designs necessary for the advertisement and implementation of MSATCW courses, events and branding.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Marketing: research, focus groups, branding, targeting specific audiences
  • Live streaming of all courses
  • Filming, and editing of courses and lectures
  • Video of course professors for advertising purposes.
  • Photography for social media and websites.
  • Manage all registrations for courses and events
  • Maintain all office computers as requested
  • Maintain updated email and mail lists, sources for electronic advertising
  • Assist in the preparation of class, course and conference documentation prepared by the Director or other lecturers for MSATCW classes.
  • Execute mailings as needed.
  • Work in cooperation with all MSATCW staff, teachers and Directors.
  • Answer phones as necessary.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Skilled in video filming, uploading to Vimeo, photography, and editing
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Professional Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word and SharePoint
  • Skilled in the use Windows operational systems and software including Access, Paintshop and Quark.
  • Creative ability in design and advertising.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and responsibly.
  • Ability to handle and resolve problems within the job responsibilities.
  • Flexible with work schedule when requested by Director. This position may require occasional evening or weekend work.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Associate degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
  • Two years of related office experience or a combination of education and experience.
