Nursing Organizer, Provide

Nursing Organizer

Posted on: November 19, 2014
Application deadline: December 15, 2015

Provide's nursing work recognizes that despite their enormous role in health care, nurses are too often unprepared to care for the woman with an unintended pregnancy. This leads to staffing shortages at clinics and can prevent hospitals from providing abortion care, as well as a lost opportunity for nurses to serve as a trusted health resource for women seeking abortion care. Provide's nursing work has three objectives:

  • Create a curriculum on unintended pregnancy prevention and care.
