Women’s Aid is the first national domestic violence charity working to end violence against women and children.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications Team on a 2 year fixed contract.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Women’s Aid is growing and needs a dynamic on-line and off-line communicator to build upon our success and maximise increasing opportunities.  Are you an excellent communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit to help end violence against women and children?  Can you help us further expand our online and media presence to better serve our stakeholders and target audiences?  
With excellent organisation and communication skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to work under pressure, you will be seeking and securing media and communications opportunities, expanding our online presence and developing marketing for a wide range of projects across the organisation.
This role will include covering the out-of-hours media on-call rota. It will also include travel and occasional evening and weekend work as needed.  
SALARY 

£25,046 - £28,249  (NJC Local Authority Pay Scale point 29-33) + benefits  + London weighting if applicable (+£3,332)
SCHEDULE
37 hours per week, based in London or Bristol; benefits include generous bank holidays, annual leave package and contributory pension scheme.
