The Programme Officer will coordinate/manage the effective delivery, monitoring and reporting on Plan’s ‘FP2020 monitoring and accountability at local and national levels’ contract.

Position Description
The Programme Officer will coordinate/manage the effective delivery, monitoring and reporting on Plan’s ‘FP2020 monitoring and accountability at local and national levels’ contract. The Programme Officer will provide technical advice and support to this programme in 5 countries: Niger, Mali, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bolivia
Required Experience
The successful candidate will have experience of;
-the international development sector
-local and national level governance, accountability and advocacy, including working with national and local networks/ platforms
-SRHR, in particular in relation to key marginalized groups, including young people
-all aspects of project cycle management and support to southern partners with PCM
-providing technical advice and support on social and political accountability and advocacy (related to SRHR)
-providing technical and organisational capacity building to partner organisations
-organisational representation and liaison (internally and externally)
Salary and Benefits
The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £35,929 with future pay progression within the pay band from £35,929 to £38,765.
We have a generous annual leave entitlement which starts at 25 days (plus public holidays) for new starters. It goes up to 30 once you’ve been with us for 6 years. We match contributions up to 6% on the pension scheme (which you can join once you’ve been with us for 3 months).
