Job Description

EnCompass LLC is seeking to expand its pool of qualified consultants available for long-term and short-term assignments under the USAID Advancing the Agenda of Gender Equality (ADVANTAGE) IDIQ. We are seeking specialists with gender related expertise in the following areas: gender mainstreaming, gender integration training, gender monitoring and evaluation, gender analysis, and gender based violence. We are looking for specialists who have worked with USAID and in the scope of sectors with which USAID works.

Potential consultants should demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in gender related international development programs
• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a specialized field in the social sciences, humanities, public policy or related fields
• Technical expertise in gender mainstreaming, gender integration, gender based violence, and other gender related topics
• Deep experience working with USAID required; additional experience with other international development donors preferred
• Successful experience in conducting gender research, gender analysis and/or gender assessments
• Experience in writing reports, analyses, proposals or other technical communications
• Experience providing gender integration training, workshops, toolkits, resource guides
• Fluency in English is required and fluency in other languages is preferred
